Dr. Katie Reynolds
Dentist

Katie qualified with distinction in 2002 from Queens University Belfast and after working in the UK and Australia settled into life in Galway in 2006. 
Katie lives in Furbo with her husband and three kids. Together with her brilliant team Katie prides herself in providing  a unique patient journey that allows all her patients to avail of honest and quality dental treatment in comfortable surroundings. 

At the weekends Katie can be found either chauffeuring the kids around their busy schedules, running the roads in a bid to keep fit or at every given opportunity watching Ireland win in the Aviva stadium!

Dr. Brendan Forde
Dentist

Brendan qualified through UCD in the Dublin Dental Hospital in June 1976 and worked in general practice in England for 12 years from 1976-1988, running a mixed NHS and private practice during that time. He returned to his native Galway in 1988 where he as been working since. A founding partner of Barna Village dental in 2003 he eventually passed the reins over to Dr Reynolds in late 2014 but continues to work as an associate one day a week. 
Brendan likes to treat all members of the family from grandparents to grandchildren and is always delighted when a new generation attends for treatment or advice.

dr Norette kearney
Dentist

A Cork native, Norette qualified with an Honours degree in 2006 from UCC, from which she achieved the top award for Oral Health Care and Prevention.   Having worked in Scotland and travelled in Australia, Norette took a leap of faith and moved to Galway in 2009 and fell in love with all its charms.  Norette has a special interest in treating nervous patients of all ages, and prides herself in creating a very relaxed and supportive environment for all her patients.  In her spare time Norette is a keen cook and loves whipping up new recipes, and likes to maintain a balance with regular yoga and plenty of fresh air on the prom with her beloved husband and pet pooch.

Sile Melia
Dental Hygienist

Sile previously worked as a dental nurse and progressed to qualify with first class honours from UCC as a dental hygienist.  Sile has that natural ability to put her patients at ease and enjoys  the variety in treating all different age groups.

Sile will greet you with a  warm welcome and educate you about your gum health through good oral hygiene at home and routine cleanings at Barna Village Dental.

Sile is a Galway supporter and along with her Dad tries to make it to Croke park as often as she can.

Marion Griffin
Qualified Dental Nurse

Marion has 3 years experience in the dental field and is a native Irish speaker.  Marion has the added responsibility of being our cross infection nurse and oversees the rigorous cross infection protocols at Barna Village Dental. 

Marion is a keen footballer and often has to explain the various bruises on a Monday morning.  She is wonderful with children and can put them at ease in an instance. (Marion and Katie first met when Marion was a childminder looking after her kids.)

Martina Grieve
Qualified Dental Nurse

Martina has 15 years experience as a dental nurse. She has worked both in Ireland and Australia and has a wealth of knowledge to share based on her experiences. Martina has the ability to put even the most nervous patients at ease and this, along with her exceptional clinical skills and experience, make her a valuable member of the team.

When not in working as a nurse Martina loves spending time with her young family in Inverin. Martina's sense of humour keeps us all in great spirits, staff and patients!

Jennifer Griffin
practice manager

You will receive a warm welcome from Jennifer when you arrive at Barna Village Dental. Jennifer has 8 years experience in customer service and prides herself in delivering a welcoming, professional and efficient service - always with a smile.  Jennifer ensures a relaxed environment and is always happy to help you with any queries.

Jennifer is calm and super organised and is always as glamorous  as ever. She is looking forward to hearing wedding bells early next year.
